Irl Captain America AU

So I finally got around to watching Captain America: The First Avenger the other day. I'll likely watch Winter Soldier before the evening's out (I know who the Winter Soldier is, but not a lot else so don't spoil stuff for me please. D: ). 

This came from a discussion me and my "sis" had a couple months ago about the relationship between Bucky and Steve. Based on the fanart and discussions on tumblr I had reeeeeeeeeally come to ship them. But when discussing the way they grew up together and their mutual level of concern without it getting romantic or sexual, she ended up comparing their friendship to how her and I act (her being Bucky and me being Steve).. At least in the first movie. Upon actually watching it, I can't ship them right now. This will -very- likely change when I see Winter Soldier since apparently their personalities can't be compared to us in that one. But just based on the first movie: I know you have my back sis, and I'd go to Hell and back for ya. I hope that comes through.
